OVERVIEW
Having previously worked in the Automotive, Aerospace, Cash Services and Ship Building industries. James has developed significant expertise in designing, developing and implementing Lean Transformation through all levels of business from Senior Management Level to Front Line personnel in both production and non-production environments.
James has excellent Project Management skills coupled with experience of successfully delivering Multimillion Pound Cost Reduction Programmes, operational change programmes, Leadership coaching and deployment of a range of performance improvement techniques to improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People in a range of companies and industries.
James has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering; he also has French language capabilities.
TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
Possessing complete lean tools and techniques knowledge, James gained a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical use of Lean tools and techniques during his time with PSA Peugeot Citroen. He has demonstrable experience of implementing and tailoring these tools with G4S. He specialises in the training of key staff at all levels, and coaching on: Lean Principles, Visual Management, Total Preventative Maintenance, Quick Changeover, Tier Accountability, Standardised Work, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Lean leadership behaviour and Quality Improvement Programmes.
James has strong Operations Management experience developed through PSA Peugeot Citroen and G4S, managing large teams responsible for achieving production targets and driving continuous improvement in the workplace. He has first-hand experience/success of delivering business/operational turnaround.
